Xian Mission 2009 at the Fourth Military Medical University Xijing Hospital, Xian (December 9-13)

*   50 charity surgeries were conducted.

*   A 5-day seminar on advances in Ear Surgery was held with live surgery demonstrations.

*   Screening was provided to village school children for hearing problems.

*   Village hospital was visited for HTF further consideration in organizing missions in rural China.

Conjoint with Shantou First Affiliated Hospital and Cochlear Ltd, a program was implemented to train local surgeons in cochlear implant surgery. 

*   Training seminar for local doctors and deaf parents was organized with 80 attendances.

*   Partnered with Union Charity Trust, a cochlear implant surgery for a 3-year-old orphan from Qin Hai, China was conducted.
